1932 Curtiss-Wright Travel Air 12W

When the Warner 125 hp radial engine became available, the Travel Air 12Q was redesigned to a round fuselage and designated the 12W. The result was good looks and better performance with the same airframe. There were only 12 built when slow sales stopped production.

The museum’s 12W flies regularly on the summer fly-in circuit.
