Curtiss OX-5

We have added a rare and unique antique airplane engine to our collection, thanks to Sue and Terry Donaldson, owners of the House on the Rock in Spring Green, Wisconsin. This Curtiss OX-5 is believed to be from Charles Lindbergh’s first airplane, a Curtiss JN4DC “Jenny” and it fits perfectly with our other Lindbergh and Curtiss displays.

Thanks Sue and Terry, and thanks to museum Director Kent McMakin for providing transportation. We’re proud to have this on display.
