The Movie: “Danger Flight” (1939): Ace flyer “Tailspin” Tommy Tomkins starts a model flying club for young boys to learn about aviation. Back at work, he’s hired to fly through a severe storm to deliver a payroll. But a gang of crooks is setting a trap for him in order to get their hands on the money. With a little help from his model-flying young friends, crashes, bad weather, and gangsters can’t stop Tailspin Tommy from saving the day!
A movie adaptation of the popular Tailspin Tommy comic strip from the 1930s, this is a fun romp featuring aircraft models, and Golden Age aircraft including a Ryan STA and several Stinsons!
