Tour info
Tours typically last 1 hour but can be adapted. Depending on your group’s preferences, we walk around the showroom exploring US aviation history, aircraft design, restoration processes, aviation in culture, and more. During the warmer months, some of the tour may be outside.
Our docents tailor tours to suit your group’s focus, interest area, learning level, and mobility.

The entire museum is accessible to wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers. Service animals and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Classroom visits
Our team of educators bring science, aviation history, and a whole lot of fun right into your classroom or homeschool co-op!
We have programs available for for grades K through 12, including:
- Aviation science for calculus and physics classes (high school)
- Air flow and flight science (adaptable for all ages)
- Kite-making workshops
- Aviation career presentations
