July 8, 2025 at 7:34 amLeo and I were friends for many years, and I have every copy of “Armchair Aviator,” which I treasure. His collection would have helped a number of my projects since he made his final flight, but I have found it nearly impossible to access it. As a museum professional, I applaud the on-going efforts you folks are making, but in the meantime, actually making meaningful use of the collection seems to be a daunting and frustrating exercise. I am presently working on a small monograph on the Douglas O-46A, and I am sure he included this type in his work.
