1938 Taylorcraft A

Taylorcraft Aviation Company of Alliance, Ohio, built this model "A" in April of 1938 with a Continental A-40-4 engine and a Sensenich wood prop. Designed by C.G. Taylor, who also designed our 1930 Taylor Cub, it made use of the first horizontally opposed aircraft engine that is ubiquitous today.
