Earlier this year, the Kelch Aviation Museum fulfilled its obligation to match a major donation from the William S. Knight Foundation totaling $370,000. Read the original grant announcement here.
The 2020 installment of the three year challenge grant was $123,333, and the museum raised its portion on August 1st. The final check from the WSK Foundation was presented on September 11 by Tom Brown, who is a board member of the foundation and long time friend of the Knights.
The Phase I hangar at the new museum will be named the “Bill & Sue Knight Memorial Vintage Airplane and Auto Hangar” in their memory.
The Kelch Aviation Museum will begin construction on Phase II of the museum late in 2020 with a grand opening to the public in the spring of 2021.

September 16, 2020 at 7:31 pmWhat a wonderful thing happening in Brodhead. Bill often talked about the museum, too bad he is not with us seeing the finish touch. You all are amazing and I thank you for doing this in his memory.
