Big Hangar
Funny how big the hangar seems when it’s empty… but not for long! Our aircraft collection has been polished up and rearranged for the annual Pietenpol-Hatz fly-in this weekend! Join us Thursday through Saturday! It is an amazing experience to get to work with these beautiful pieces of history. Thank
Three Waters Reserve
We were thrilled to support fellow local non-profit Lower Sugar River Watershed Association and Three Waters Reserve at their event on Saturday! We look forward to working with them in the future – and flying over the beautiful nature reserve is always so special. Check them out!
On the Radio
We’re on the radio! Executive Director Pat and Curator Hannah were guests on WCLO radio today, talking about the museum and Airventure with EAA’s Dick Knapinski. https://www.wclo.com/…/7-15-22-previewing-the-annual…/
Cleaning Day!
Today is cleaning day! Our awesome group of volunteers pulled all the airplanes and most of the “stuff” out of the museum so we could scrub the floors, clean the cobwebs, and get ready for our big event next week.

Thanks to the Windy City Miata Club for stopping by the museum today. It’s a perfect day for a convertible drive or an open cockpit airplane ride.
