https://fb.watch/aka89tqfMN/ Our Archivist and Event Coordinator, Hannah Shickles, made her first solo flight yesterday on her way to earning her private pilot’s license. She flew a 1945 Aeronca Champ 7AC with certified flight instructor Elroy E Hilbert II. Crosswind at 16kts and gusts to 20kts. Impressive!
Episode Two of History with Hannah is finally here. Take a deeper dive into the Wright J engine Series! Don’t forget to donate if you haven’t already, so we can continue to bring you more content like this! We are open Wednesday – Sunday 10 to 4 https://fb.watch/ak9_5wcITl/
Thanks to all of our supporters for making the past week a huge success. We met our $2,000 challenge goal with a total of over $2,800 donated; we had our biggest day of merchandise sales ever on Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday was our most successful to date as well.
Today is Giving Tuesday, and as you consider your charitable donations this year, we ask for your support. Your generous donations opened our doors in 2021. Help us start 2022 on sound financial footing so we can continue our museum programming and educational outreach. Thank you! https://www.kelchmuseum.org/contribute
